FAQs

Do you record podcasts ?

Yes! We can actually accomplish every part of a podcast. Everyone at Audiography speaks the language of audio, which is what makes us a perfect fit. Whether you need to book a studio, record remotely, or capture content in the field, we have the experience and equipment to help.

How do you handle music?

Many clients provide us with an online library where we have become proficient in choosing, placing and editing music into shows.

Sometimes a library won’t cut it though. Good thing we also compose original music. We love making underscore and main titles to give each podcast its own unique sound.

Can’t I make a podcast on my own? Why hire someone?

You definitely can, and sometimes we help get clients setup to do just that. We’re here to make the process quicker, sound consistent, and achieve more complex edits than one might be able to do solo.

Our expertise is in telling stories with sound, layering voice with sound effects and music, and even delivering in formats such as Dolby Atmos.

Where do you mix?

Founder, Paul Vitolins has a 7.1.4 Atmos “micro-dubstage” built in the basement of his home. Fondly referred to as The Grotto, the space comfortably fits 2-3 clients for mix reviews, spotting, and even Voiceover recording.

In that space, Paul has been able to record Foley, compose music, and edit/mix for all digital formats. The playback system is comprised of a Grace m908 monitoring controller, Dynaudio Core7 LCR speakers, and JBL surrounds/sub.

Can you do video?

Certainly. Editing video podcasts can be very similar to audio on it’s own. We have partners who are amazing videographers, and can consult on equipment or be hired for capture.

Take a look at our post-production page. We have tons of experience is in film and tv, and we feel very comfortable in the world of video.

When can we start?

Probably soon. Get in touch, and let’s start the conversation.
